Monthly Update – May 2017

As we reach the 1st June 2017 and embark on our 3rd month since starting as a Limited Company, I wanted to share with you the highlights and achievements over May. It’s fair to say we have had a busy, challenging but successful month and we couldn’t be more positive about the future of TZD.

TZD reaches new heights… I’d like to start with some ‘Facts & Figures’ to summarise May 2017 for TZD.

Revenue has increased significantly, more than 15 x more than April
Rollover Revenue for June has increased by 1.5 x more than April
Quotes have increased by 1.7 x more than April in excess of £50k

TZD becomes a member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce…

At the beginning of May, I met with Diane at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce to discuss and explore more about how they could support us as a new business as well as understand what value we could deliver to their fellow members. After meeting with a couple of other organisations, I am pleased to announce that we decided to join the GMCC as members a week or so later.

The motto for the GMCC is Connect, Communicate, Create. As believers in doing just that, we are proud to announce our new membership and association with the largest Chamber of the 33 across the UK. With over 150 events organised, we look forward to networking with other members and seeing how we can add value by supporting others with our Design and Digital Marketing services and expertise.

TZD becomes a member of the Chorlton Connects Business Networking Group…

Since opening our new account with RBS Business Banking, we have been looked after by the fantastic team at Chorlton Branch that is Rebecca Jones – Bank Manager and Jemma Todd – Relationship Banking Manager. Rebecca invited me to attend this group for local businesses to share best practises, network and listen to guest speakers on various business related topics. I look forward to becoming more actively involved with the group and helping expand it to new local business owners using LinkedIn and Social Media so they can benefit too.

TZD – Rewards Referrals…

We recognised towards the middle of May that the vast majority of our business was coming from Referrals. Whether it was existing clients, sub-contractors, friends or friends of friends it was all about people talking to people and recommending us. So, we decided to support this further after all, it’s not just what you know is it!?

Earn up to £350 by referring our Website Design service. It’s that simple! When you refer a friend or business that needs a new website, you will receive your referral payment once their deposit has been processed.

TZD Visits Vertikal Days…

This event was pretty incredible all around for us. Not only was it the first time that the UK’s largest Cranes & Access Industry Exhibition was hosted at Silverstone but it was the first event that we have attended in order to connect and raise our brand awareness within the Equipment Rental Industry.

Meeting up with old Hewden colleagues was certainly a highlight. Since the sad demise of Hewden last November 2016, it was great to see so many in new careers within the industry. The best part about this event though has to be the 15 – 20 new businesses that we caught up with and met who see great value in our proposition and expressed interest in working with us in order to better support their design and digital marketing requirements.

June 2017 – What’s next for TZD…

Well as you have read, it’s been a busy month for us and it’s only just beginning. With confirmation of our first order of the month today for a new website we have had a great start to the month. Next stop, the UK’s largest Plant Equipment Exhibition, PLANTWORX 17.

Alex and I will be back in the TZD branded polo shirts spreading the message that we are here to support you in the Plant Industry too. With extensive experience within the Equipment Rental Industry, we understand the challenges you face daily and most importantly we understand how best to market you to your customers and prospect customers too.
